Francois is a multi-skilled project financier with 17 years’ deal making experience. His focus is on the power sector across Sub Sahara Africa and has also over the years been developing and funding projects in the infrastructure, telecommunications, manufacturing and energy sectors. He has extensive knowledge of the local SA energy industry and he also has experience in arranging ECA backed financing and contract negotiations with specific focus on Power Purchase agreements (PPAs).eo.

Helgaard diversified his engineering background with a career spanning nineteen years in the Development Finance, Banking and Transaction Advisory industries where he has established an impressive business associate network and gained vast experience in a range of Project Development, Project Finance, Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisition transactions. His expertise include origination of transactions, marketing, technical and financial analysis, financial modelling, business plan development, structuring of equity and debt funding as well as transaction implementation and monitoring..

Mr Krishna Pillay has held senior leadership roles in the mining and energy sectors while employed at blue chip companies, Eskom and Anglo American. He is a mechanical engineer with a government certificate of competence, Diploma in Project Management and a MBA.Krishna started off his career as an Anglo American bursar and concluded his training at De Beers in Kimberley.  After qualifying, he worked for a short while at the Anglo Corporate offices in Johannesburg as a structural designer. After a stint with Anglo Alpha working as resident engineer, he joined Eskom initially as power station engineering manager and finally head of project management office responsible to plan, develop and implement the Eskom new build programme.Krishna spent the last 7 years of his corporate life at Anglo American. He was appointed as project director Zimbabwe in 2007, and then in various Head of Engineering roles within the group.Krishna left Anglo American in May 2014 and set up a consultancy firm focused providing specialist Engineering, Plant Operations Optimisation, Project Development and Project Management services in the Resources and Energy Sectors..
